Upload Dictations, Transcribe Dictations

Once you receive the dictation from the specialist either via email or directly from the portal, you can upload the audio file onto the Kawaconn system.

  1. Dictation Received From Specialist to notify the PIC of the receipt of the dictation.
  2. Select the received date.
  3. In Dictation transcription and report typing tick MLP if your company typed the report, and tick Specialist if the specialist typed the report.
  4. Upload the audio file to Attached Audio Dictations.
  5. Tick Transcribe Dictations if your file is suitable to transcribe the audio file.

Note:

  • Only the following audio format can be transcribed: MP3, DSS, M4A, AAC, WAV, AMR – Hover over :info: for more information
  • Under Dictation transcription and report typing, please make sure to tick on the correct party who will type the report, as this will affect the billing process. If the dictation is uploaded by staff or the specialist themself, it will be automatically selected as MLP.
  1. Tick Send Dictation Receipt to send an email to confirm receipt of the dictation.
  2. Click Save at the bottom to save the progress.

As you click Save, a new area will appear, with fields listing the dictation’s details.
