Request Additional Medical Records
OVERVIEW
The Request Additional Medical Records function enables you to obtain more records for an existing case from a different provider. When making this request, key details from the original case – such as Client Details and Booking Company/CM – are copied to a new case. This article explains how Case Managers can request additional medical records.
REQUEST ADDITIONAL MEDICAL RECORDS
- You can request additional records using one of the following options:
- Option 1: Click the three dots next to the case in the MR Case list, then select Request Additional Records.

- Option 2: Click the Case No to open the Medical Record Detail tab, then select Request Additional Records at the footer.

- A confirmation popup will appear. Click Yes to proceed.

- A new case will open, with a success message displayed at the top of the page.

Note: Additional Records cases retain the same Case Number as the original, but add a “-[num]” suffix. This helps track multiple Medical Record Retrievals for the same client more easily.
Example:
- Original Case: MR-0000001
- First Additional Case: MR-0000001-1
- Second Additional Case: MR-0000001-2
